SUMMARY:SunSquabi LIVE @ ICON Events w/ Tuff Roots acoustic set
DESCRIPTION:Music has the power to move us—physically\, emotionally\, and spiritually. For SunSquabi—Kevin Donohue [guitar\, keys\, production]\, Josh Fairman [bass\, synth]\, and Scotty Zwang [drums]—that power lives in the unspoken language they share on stage and in the studio. With millions of streams and high-energy performances at venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre\, they’ve carved out a space where electronic production\, jam-band freedom\, and funk-rooted grooves collide.\nNow\, the Colorado-based trio turns the page with their most defining release yet: a self-titled album that reintroduces SunSquabi in their purest form. More than a record\, SunSquabi is a creative reset—a declaration of who they are now\, and where they’re headed next.\n“This is the most honest version of us\,” says Donohue. “It felt right to make it self-titled\, because we’ve grown into something new—and we wanted to mark that.”\nThe album follows a strong run of EPs (Cloudburst and Grind) that saw the band evolving through collaboration\, improvisation\, and reinvention. Tracks often began as live jams—many from their livestream sessions during the pandemic—and grew into fully fleshed-out songs that reflect both discipline and spontaneity.\n\n“We didn’t overthink it. We trusted our instincts\,” adds Fairman. “Everything came from a real place\, and we stayed true to that. This record feels like a culmination.”\nSince 2015\, SunSquabi has toured relentlessly and released boundary-pushing records like Odyssey (2016)\, Deluxe EP (2017)\, and Instinct (2019). They’ve collaborated with artists like Lettuce\, GRiZ\, Late Night Radio\, and The String Cheese Incident\, building a loyal following along the way. Media outlets including JamBase\, Live For Live Music\, and ThisSongIsSick have praised their genre-defying sound and explosive live shows.\nWhile their past work laid the foundation\, SunSquabi feels like the project that defines them. It’s not just a name on a record—it’s a statement of identity\, intention\, and evolution. And as always\, their goal is simple: move people\, lift spirits\, and keep the groove alive.\nw/ special guests\nTUFF ROOTS – acoustic set w/ Jordan & Flip\n\n\n\nFacebook event & more info\nWednesday\, October 8th\, 2025\nDoors 7:00 PM | Show 8:00 PM\nIcon Events | DaDa\n

SUMMARY:CLAUDE STUART Comedy LIVE @ LUCKYS | Club 224 w/ Thomas Paul & Colin Katrenak
DESCRIPTION:From packing comedy venues across the globe to regular television appearances on shows like “The Tonight Show” and “Last Comic Standing”\, veteran comedian Claude Stuart has come a long way from his down-home\, southern roots. Claude’s explosive\, in-your-face\, rapid-fire\, madman stage style is truly an exhilarating assault on the senses; and it has evoked comparisons to golden era physical comedians such as Steve Martin\, Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Claudes unique brand of Don Rickles-esque crowd interaction\, coupled with clever and well-written jokes\, makes him not only the world’s first “physical insult comedian” – but a “Comedy Triple Threat”! \n\n\n\n\n\nClaude has starred in many national commercials (From Heniken to Jeep Cherokee to even Midol!) and hit TV shows\, including “That 70s Show”\, “Scrubs”\, Will & Grace”\, “Comics Unleashed”\, “Agent Carter”\, Melissa & Joey”\, and “Last Man Standing”. He has been in feature films such as Starship Troopers\, Man On The Moon and Adam Carolla’s Road Hard. He also created a show for The Tennis Channel that he wrote and hosted called “Game\, Set & Laugh!” \n \nClaude co-created and is starring in the critically acclaimed sketch series “High Land Parking “on Amazon Prime. His Drybar and Tubi Specials have helped him earn over 270\,000 followers; and he just recorded a new album for SiriusXM.  \nClaude is a partner in the production company 3 DEGREES ENTERTAINMENT\, and they’re currently filming a new movie starring Sean Astin and comedy legend John Cleese. \nClaude wrote for NBC’s “FEEDING AMERICA” – which starred Eddie Murphy\, Chris Rock\, and Adam Sandler; and he has been writing for the popular comedy show “FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK”\, starring Howie Mandel\, Tiffany Haddish\, and Jeff “The Roastmaster” Ross; and he has gotten over 600 jokes on the air – more than anyone in the history of the program! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nfeaturing Thomas Paul & Colin KatrenakFACEBOOK EVENT + MORE INFO\n\nThursday\, October 23rd\, 20258 PM – 10:00 PM CSTDoors open at 7:00Luckys Downtown – Club 224224 N Phillips Ave #dtsf** All seating first-come first-serve** Premier Seating is front 2 rows

SUMMARY:THAT1GUY returns to ICON Events w/ local Gabriel Michael
DESCRIPTION:With an extensive and amazing track record of unique and imaginative performances featuring his curious instrument and copious amounts of originality\, Mike Silverman\, a/k/a That1Guy\, has set himself apart as a true one-of-a-kind talent that rivals any other artist currently in the entertainment industry. Averaging 150-200 shows a year all over North America and Canada\, he has been a consistent favorite at such festivals as: Wakarusa\, Electric Forest\, Big Day out\, All Good Music Festival\, Bella\, High Sierra Music Festival\, Summer Meltdown\, Montreal Jazz Festival\, and many more. He was also the ʻTap Water Award’ winner at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for best musical act. His legendary collaboration and multiple tours with Buckethead performing as The Frankenstein Brothers has further cemented his virtuoso story as a creative visionary. \nHis innovation continues to soar with his latest tour\, That1Guy & The Magic Pipe Present: An Evening of Musical Magical Wonder… The Likes of Which Ye Haven’t Yet Seen\, which kicked off in 2014. Along with his pioneering main instrument\, The Magic Pipe\, a monstrosity of metal\, strings\, and electronics\, he facilitates the dynamic live creation of music and magic in ways only That1Guy can conjure. You can also expect to see magic seamlessly integrated into the already clever performance. With the addition of magic in his live shows\, he has legitimately achieved an all-inclusive audio/visual performance unlike anything experienced before. “So much of my music has miraculous qualities to it because it’s hard to tell what’s going on. There are lots of slights of hand and sonic misdirection. It feels like I was meant to do magic”. \n \nSilverman’s back-story is similar to many musicians that have come before him. He grew up a self-proclaimed music geek\, soaked in the influence of his jazz musician father\, and enrolled in San Francisco Conservatory of Music before joining the local jazz scene himself as a sought-after percussive bassist. This is where the similarities end though and where That1Guy truly began. “In my case\, being a bass player\, I just felt very restricted by the instrument itself\,” he says. “I’ve always wanted to sound different and have my own sound. I was headed that way on the bass\, but for me to fully realize what I was hearing in my head sonically I was going to have to do it my way”. His influential and innovative double bass style eventually evolved into what we see today as That1Guy and The Magic Pipe. \nAs his story continues to develop\, Billboard has famously noted\, “In the case of Mike Silverman’s slamming\, futuristic funk act… the normal rules of biology just don’t apply.” In addition\, Silverman also has new music and videos in the works for 2015 that will further validate his status as an industry trailblazer. “I like being my own person”\, he says. “I didn’t set out to be a weirdo\, but I’m starting to embrace it”. Ultimately\, his motivation can be encapsulated as this: “Human beings do our best work when we’re challenged and pushed up against the wall”. That1Guy goes on to further explain\, “By nature\, we’re hunters and gatherers\, spending each day looking for their next meal. It’s easy to be lazy when you don’t have to come up with something creative right away.” \nw/ special guest Gabriel Michael\n\n\n\nGabriel Michael is a passionate and talented musician who performed 100+ shows in 2024. He draws on his varied influences to bring a powerful repertoire of soul\, blues\, and rock music.\n\nGabriel is a prolific songwriter\, singer\, and guitarist that prefers the energy of recording live with a band. When he can’t bring his backing band\, The Enablers\, he brings energy and showmanship to his solo performances. These shows inlcude a mix of americana\, acoustic rock\, blues\, funk\, and soul\, accompanied by acoustic guitar\, electric guitar\, a looper pedal\, and a melodica.\nGabriel lived in Ecuador for ten years\, returning to the United States around 2019. In 2022 he and his wife welcomed their first child into the world. He works hard to make music his primary source of income\, happily spending the rest of his time with his family.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFacebook event & more info \nThursday\, October 23rd\, 2025\nDoors 8:00 PM | Show 9:00 PM\nIcon Events | DaDa \n \n
