Corey Eno Ruffin Returns
Ex Super Happy Funtime Burlesque Frontman Initiates Solo Tour
This Summer, Nation’s Heart Palpitates In Eager Anticipation
Hey, how’s it been?
Have you ever spent 15 years of your life living on a bus with a group of 14 other like minded freaks, traveling the country and performing a very surreal
and shamanistic blend of music and sex comedy in theaters and dive bars? Did you, when covid hit, disband the show and flee the country? Did you end
up living in the rural Mexican state of Chiapas and ride out a very uncertain time and a very uncertain future; only end up abandoning all possessions
and connections and spend the next 4 years traveling the western world full time? Corey did.
9 countries and 40 states later, Corey has a story to tell. Taking to the stage in an all new and solo performance of story and songs
(all intended to be sing along), he’s coming back to the old haunts to catch up with the fans and ask ‘hey, hows it been?’ “I spent a month in the jungle,
I trekked on foot with a donkey carrying our water and a guide to see ancient and forgotten ruins. I lived with indigenous Maya in the Yucatan,
I had an affair with a cabinet member of a latin American president’s government, I spent a tense 20 minutes hiding behind a lame horse in a small
puebla as ak47 wielding gangsters kidnapped the town mayor,” says Corey.
He wants to spread a little joy, he wants to tell some tales, he wants to sing along
with you; and he promises to keep his clothes on.
